Sex Addicts Anonymous – Austin Recovery Page

Is Sex Addicts Anonymous Right For You?

SAA-Austin is an spiritual recovery program for people who struggle with compulsive sexual behavior. Behaviors which cause pain for ourselves, our loved ones, and those around us.

If you are unsure whether you may be a sex addict we suggest that you complete the self-assessment appearing in the Newcomers area of our website. Whether you experience porn addiction, sexual compulsion or any other sexual behaviors that may cause your life to become unmanageable, you may find this assessment valuable.

“Before coming to Sex Addicts Anonymous, many of us never knew that our problem had a name. All we knew was that we couldn’t control our sexual behavior. For us, sex was a consuming way of life. Although the details of our stories were different, our problem was the same. We were addicted to sexual behaviors that we returned to over and over, despite the consequences.”

About Us: Austin Area Sex Addicts Anonymous Intergroup

The Austin Area SAA Intergroup is an autonomous registered fellowship composed of the registered groups of recovering sex addicts who follow the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of Sex Addicts Anonymous® (SAA). The views expressed on this website are those of Austin Area SAA Intergroup and do not necessarily represent those of SAA as a whole. The official website of Sex Addicts Anonymous (http://www.saa-recovery.org) is overseen by the ISO of SAA, Inc., through its Board of Trustees who are elected by delegates representing its member groups.

Our program is based on the principles and traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous. Although we are not affiliated with AA or any other organization, we are deeply grateful to AA for making our recovery possible.

“Our fellowship is open to women and men, regardless of age, race, religion, ethnic background, marital status, or occupation. We welcome members of any sexual identity or orientation, whether they are gay, lesbian, straight, bisexual, or transgender.”
