SAA Meetings are held at locations through out the greater Austin area (Interactive Map). All Austin area SAA meetings are closed to the general public. In support of SAA’s singleness of purpose, attendence at closed meetings is limited to persons who have a desire to stop compulsive sexual behavior. If you think you have a problem with compulsive sexual behavior, you are welcome to attend any of our meetings. Open meetings, for those who do not identify themselves as having desctructive and compulsive sexual behaviours, may be available through other SAA fellowships, or through telemeetings listed on the ISO of SAA website.
“An SAA group consists of two or more individuals who, using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of SAA, meet regularly for the purpose of recovering from their addictive sexual behavior. At our meetings, we read SAA literature and share our experience, strength and hope with each other, focusing on how the SAA program of recovery works in our lives.”
— Sex Addicts Anonymous, p. 10
Most Austin SAA meetings are mixed, meaning that both men and women may attend. However, some meetings are limited to men-only or women-only. Check the meeting list (also available in PDF) to see if a meeting is mixed, men-only, or women-only. All Austin SAA meetings are open to LGBT members of the community.
Special Meetings For Licensed Caregivers and Clergy
